Worcester Student Housing FAQ

Just email with a brief message with study year and course, and the number of rooms you’re interested in. Or call us on the mobile.

If you know which room you want and don’t want to/can’t view in person, just email with details and we can have a quick chat, answer any questions you have, take a £300 deposit, and the room is secured for you. We then arrange for contacts to be sent out to you.

Yes, we often do that, particularly for overseas students. Just send us a message and we can arrange that for you via FaceTime

For students on standard courses, the contracts start on the 1st September and run through the student year.

We have flexibility on exact dates depending on course type.

Yes, this is absolutely fine. If a student books a room for a second or third year, the space is yours, and you can store personal belongings in the room.

We only take students from the University of Worcester, and we discuss personality types and lifestyles with all of our tenants. Ultimately, whilst it is your house and tenants are free to live as they wish, we expect respect to be shown to us as landlords, to the house and it’s condition, and to all other housemates. This usually means a quieter house, where students can enjoy the space and have good opportunity for a peaceful, harmonious house in which to get work done.

Most of our students receive student loans. We spilt the total cost of the room for the year into 3 equal parts and ask students to pay each instalment as the student loan is paid in September, January & April.

We can accept up to 9 payments. If you wish to split payments this way, the first one is due in September, and the final payment is due in May.

No, this is all included in the rent. Gas, Electric, TV license, water rates & broadband (unlimited data).

We (the owners and landlords) are always contactable in an emergency and during office hours for non-emergencies. We own and manage several student houses and have a reliable team of trade workers to help maintain the house. This includes general handymen, electricians, heating engineers and plumbers. Any issues are sorted very promptly.
